Multimatic DSSV™ Dampers
A first ever on Canyon, the Multimatic™ DSSV dampers powering AT4X feature dynamic spool valves for extended off-road applications. Multimatic™ DSSV spool-valve dampers feature three separate spool valves to control damping and three connected chambers for fluid flow. Every Canyon AT4X includes a unique valve specifically designed for off-roading applications. It is activated when wheel travel moves outside the “normal road” operating motion range, providing extra dampening during extended wheel travel and high-impact compression events.
3-INCH FACTORY LIFT
The New 2023 Canyon comes standard with an off-road chassis package that includes an additional 1" of factory-installed lift for a total lift of 3 inches, resulting in 10.7". The Canyon AT4X also has a widened track of 66.3 inches, 36.9-degree approach angle, 25.0-degree departure angle and 24.5-degree breakover angle.
